Before coming to PCSS as the Founder and Principal Consultant in 2015, James Johnson worked over 27 years in Fortune 100 and 500 companies providing IT, IT Security and Process Control solutions to both governments and private industry worldwide.  In numerous Director roles, he has managed portfolios of projects in excess of $63M, managed IT Operations budgets up to $42M, established and maintained IT security programs for both classified and unclassified programs, re-engineered and improved processes producing $M’s in sustained savings, and has engineered and maintained numerous process control and robotic systems.  James’ expertise includes Security, Governance, Communications, Strategic Planning & Initiatives, Policies & Procedures, and Business Management.   James received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Alabama and completed graduate level physics training at MIT.  He maintains numerous industry certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Safety Trained Supervisor (STS).  James is based in Denver, CO.

Jerry bissett

Before coming to PCSS as a Principle Consultant, Jerry Bissett worked over 31 years in Fortune 500 companies where he managed IT Operations, directed both IT Security Operations and IT Governance, and served as an IT Strategy Consultant to Senior Management.  Jerry has extensive experience in all areas of IT operations and is an expert in IT Security and Systems.  Jerry brings a unique understanding of controls, quality and security having spent 11 years in nuclear design, test, quality assurance and quality control.  Jerry has won numerous awards for quality, support services and contingency planning.  Jerry's Security expertise includes:  IT Security, Policies & Procedures, IT Security Certification and Accreditation, IT Audits, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, Security Devices - firewalls, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, war dialing and event logs, and Operations Security.  Jerry has a Chemical Engineering background with Colorado School of Mines. Jerry is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Safety Trained Supervisor (STS).
